In 1988, the Sandras family skipped their honeymoon, bought a van, and loaded up a pallet of mats. That was the beginning of Sanico. No investors. No corporate playbook. Just a family that believed if you did the job right, people would keep calling.
They were right. Sanico has grown every single year since — averaging 10% to 20% annual growth — not through big advertising budgets, but through word of mouth, hard work, and salespeople knocking on doors. Today we operate multiple distribution centers across the Southeast, serve more than 4,200 customers every week, and employ over 100 people who take real pride in their work.
We're still family-owned. We still answer the phone. And we're still delivering clean mats, uniforms, and linens through the doors of businesses that count on us every week.

We're not headquartered somewhere else with a regional office here. Sanico was started in Mississippi, and the Southeast has been our home and our focus for over 35 years. We strategically placed our distribution centers across the region so we can run consistent weekly service without relying on a single facility.
When Nashville became a market worth entering, we got in. When markets in Alabama and Mississippi needed a local alternative to the nationals, we were already there. We grow when the Southeast grows, and we take that personally.
